Just a laid back, polite, friendly lady that loves to share my love of anime and other hobbies with others out there. I live in the OC here in
Socal and when I'm not working, I'm on the internet, reading manga, watching my fave anime and TV shows, playing video games, I'm a Nintendo
fanatic. I don't go out and party or go clubbing I'm just a simple, humble nerdgirl.
The first anime I can remember was the Adventures of Unico back in the early 80s, then Project A-ko, I got my nickname "Diko" from the A/B/C-ko girls and also the first letter of my real name being "D" Diko or "D" girl. I have been an anime and manga fan ever since. Rumiko Takahashi and Clamp have to be two of my favorite manga storytellers. I worked at Disneyland for 4 years on Main St. and they were some of the most endearing years of my life. I work at Bank of America doing Business Lending and it will soon be the end of me if I don't find something else soon.
I am a lover of everyone and I always look for the good in people.

Watching it right now. In some of the short films done by Madhouse, Bruce Lookee like a japaneezu boyu. They gave him longer hair and a lanky figure. So far "Crossfire" and "Field Test" are the most interesting and artistic. You know who would have had an interesting batman? Satoshi Kon or the artist who did Cowboy Bebop. Commisioner Gordon looks exactly the same in all of them.
On another thought, it's hard to think Gary Oldman did Gordon *AND* the evil guy... -

Bored, summer night....why must I be so nostalgic and alone??
1. Why must crayons smell so good?? I would absolutely buy the crayon perfume made by Demeter and avail at Sephora. (A popular perfume chain here in socal).
2. I don't care how much of a tough gamer you are, if you ever started playing Animal Crossing, I doubt you'd skip playing it for even a day. (Gotta plant them radishes!)
3. I don't care HOW young they are depicted in the Care Bears movie II,... -
TIRED from anime expo

It was 97 degrees, crowded, and boy the outfit I finally ended up wearing was heavy and hot!! I had a lot of fun, though! I have lots of pictures so I'll make it a point to post them later!! I also found some goodies too that I will post about later.
FUN but very hot the days I went....stay tuned! I will update my photos in Misc. forum

Nothing remotely interesting ever happens in my life so I'm really excited to go this year because I didn't get to go last year and there are some guests of Honor that I want to see, too. Haven't picked out an outfit yet, still looking. I will take as many pictures as possible and bring some here to the board. Less than two weeks away!!

And I'm not talking about the Wii Mii, but I came across a site where you can make a pretty decent looking 3D avatar of yourself w/ a cool choice of animations, styles and customizations. I think it's a fun way to post your picture without having to put your real photo across the internet.

They delayed the Wii Fit again! AArrrgghhh I had plans for that! Oh well it's not that far off...I was going to try to use it to lose weight and keep track of it, like those extreme ppl who were using DDR as a major tool for weight loss. I'm going to go all out and take before/after pix and all that shniz-nah. I'm so excited, but not nearly as excited as if Nintendo will announce a Kid Icarus for the Wii.

Still deciding what to wear to AX this year. I went to Game Quest and got a brand new never used copy of FF8 (my favorite out of them all so far) and was thinking maybe I could wear a SeeD uniform!! I don't look like any of the students, at least not Selphie or Quistis, but hey just a generic Balamb Gardens student. It's either that or Sweet Gothic Lolita.
It looks somewhat comfy and it's DARK if any of you have been to Anime Expo here in Socal you KNOW it's desert hot... -

I'm probably not going to cosplay this year for Anime Expo I haven't lost my desired weight, so I may have to settle for a cute sweet lolita outfit instead. I added an Urusei Yatsura amv on my profile, I am not really a big fan of Avril Lavinge, but the song fit with the clips and I thought it was cute.
